MGD – Terms and Conditions (T&Cs)
1. Introduction
Welcome to One Million Good Deeds (referred to as “MGD”, “we,” “our,” “us”). By accessing our website and purchasing a $1 Deed, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must refrain from using our services.
2. Service Overview
MGD provides digital deeds for $1, each containing a specific task sent via email. Customers have the option to direct the deed either to themselves or to a third party (“someone else”) if selected during the purchase process.
3. Purchase and Delivery Process
Upon successful purchase, the customer will receive an email with the deed attached. All purchases are final, and no refunds will be issued under any circumstances. Customers may optionally create an account to access additional functionalities.
4. Account Registration and Additional Features
Registering an account enables users to track progress, participate in top user rankings, and access further platform functionalities. Users may upload a profile picture and delete their account at any time.
5. Payment Processing and Security
All transactions are securely processed through Stripe’s payment system. We do not collect, store, or retain any credit card details. Payments are securely handled at the point of sale. Customers are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of their payment details during transactions.
6. User Obligations
Users must provide a valid and accurate email address to receive their purchased deeds. Users must not misuse the platform, engage in fraudulent activities, or misrepresent themselves. Any form of abuse, harassment, or misconduct will result in the immediate suspension or termination of the user’s account.
7. Privacy and Data Protection
We are committed to protecting user privacy and handle all personal data in accordance with Australian privacy laws and our Privacy Policy. We do not share personal information with third parties without user consent, except where required by law. Users have the right to request the deletion of their personal data.
8. Account Termination and Deletion
Users may delete their accounts at any time through their account settings. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these Terms. Deleted accounts and associated data cannot be recovered.
9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
Our services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use of our services. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the website and services and are not responsible for delays or disruptions beyond our control.
